Early Life

Khalid was born in Fort Stewart, Georgia on February 11, 1998. His mother was in the military so he visited a lot of places like Fort Campbell, Fort Drum, New York, and Germany. Khalid attended the Carthage Central High School where he studied singing and musical theatre. He later moved to El Paso, Texas, and attended the Americas High School.

In an interview with Times, Khalid mentioned how he would be bullied in high school for singing. “I guess people didn’t like my singing or my voice. It’s something that happens to everyone in high school,” said the singer.

Personal Life

Khalid’s personal life has been subject to speculation but not much real information is out in the public. He was rumored to engage on social media, but the singer personally cleared the confusion by answering ‘no’ on Twitter. 
Let’s not mention the thousands of dating rumors social media has on Khalid. This extreme amount of attention and always being on the news became a reason for social anxiety for the singer.
