You probably have heard of Olivia Rodrigo as the girl from Bizaardvark or High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, but she has become something way larger than these.
As she signed Geffen Records to start her musical career, she has become the whimsical mystery of the town. Olivia’s debut single “Drivers License” has become the first song of 2024 to get 1 billion global streams.
After staying atop the Billboard Global 200 Chart for eight weeks straight, Olivia’s single has found itself a new place.
After achieving such glory at the age of 18, she has released another single “Deja Vu” to continue the momentum. Olivia’s success at such an early age only confirms her potentials for the future.
Just 18 year old, Olivia Rodrigo is one of the youngest female pop artists — whose debut “drivers license” made her pop star straight away of today.
3. Zendaya
Zendaya has two sides to her character. On one side, she is a fantastic actress with experience in some of the highest-grossing Hollywood movies such as the Spiderman series.
The Primetime Emmy-winning actress is also a great singer — she debuted in 2011 and later came under the umbrella of Hollywood Records.
Zendaya’s journey took its pace and got her to a beautiful place by ranking her first single “Replay” on the 40th position of Billboard Hot 100.
The album Zendaya that was released in 2013 garnered a massive amount of listeners as well and got itself to 51 in the Billboard 200.
She also sang the song “Rewrite the Stars” in the movie “The Greatest Showman” which she released as a single in 2018. It was an instant hit too and got a double-platinum certification from RIAA.
4. Camila Cabello
Camila Cabello is undoubtedly a huge star and it’s not at all surprising to see her climb the ladders given her rare talent. As a Cuban-American, Camila like Shakira and a few other Latinos have the gift of mixing the two vibes perfectly.
Starting her career with the Fifth Harmony group, she later went solo and released her first single “I Know What You Did Last Summer” in collaboration with Shawn Mendes.

Sabrina Carpenter is yet another actress turned singer. She started her career in a side role in the series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
After quite a few movies and series, she gave singing a chase and got Hollywood Records to sign a deal. Can’t Blame a Girl for Trying, her debut EP came in 2014. It was a moderate success and Sabrina went on to release her next album Eyes Wide Open coming on 43rd position of Billboard 200.
She went on to release consistent albums almost every year from then and has a total of four albums now.
Sabrina signed with Island Records in 2024 and her first single with the label “Skin” opened at Billboard Hot 100 on 48th position.
6. Noah Cyrus
Noah Cyrus is the latest contribution of the Cyrus family to the music world. The younger sister of Miley Cyrus has already stepped into the field and got a good feel of it.
After spending her childhood in the TV world, Noah decided to start singing and signed in the Maverick record label.
Her debuting single was “Make Me (Cry),” a song that she released in collaboration with Labrinth.
In the early stage of her career, she joined in chorus for Marshmellow’s “Chasing Colors.” Noah’s “Again” got some international fame as it got into the 91st position in a Canadian chart and 6th in a Kiwi chart.
After a busy year with a lot of collaboration, she has released the EP The End of Everything.
7. Olivia O’ Brien
Olivia O’Brien is one of the young musicians who have shown their potential on several platforms.
Coming into the headlines after doing a collab with Gnash in the song “I Hate U, I Love U”, Olivia has become a familiar face in the industry. The song became popular in the US and got into the Billboard Hot 100 chart’s 10th position.
Olivia cashed in on the success by getting a deal with Island Records and soon released her debut album Was It Even Real? The 2019 album was a moderate success.
Then Olvia released an EP named My Poor Judgement another successful musical effort. However, more than the EP, her single from the EP “Josslyn” became a huge success as it went viral on the social media platform TikTok.
8. Hailee Steinfeld
Hailee Steinfeld is an awesome actress and a great singer, no doubt in that. The BAFTA nominee got the first taste of music when she worked in a soundtrack of the comedy series Pitch Perfect 2.
Steinfeld’s performance was greatly appreciated and she got a deal from Republic records soon after.
Hailee’s debut single “Love Myself” got her established as a singer and she released quite a few of them, both solo and in collaboration.
The singer’s “Starving” got entry to the Billboard Hot 100 chart. “Let Me Go” ranked 14 on the Mainstream top 14 chart. Hailee’s EP Half Written Story came in 2024.
9. Maisie Peters
Maisie Peter is a young English musician with great prospects for the future. Starting her career from YouTube, she has now quite a large fan base.
Maisie’s debuting singles came in 2017 — “Place We Were Made,” and “Birthday.” Then the next year she signed Atlantic records the UK and released the single “Worst of You.” Crossing 80 million streams on Spotify, it is her best performance so far.
Maisie’s EP Dressed Too Nice for a Jacket came in 2018. After a few more singles, she released another EP It’s Your Bed Babe, It’s Your Funeral.
Maisie’s single “Jack Hughes Movie” got herself to the official UK singles chart for the first time.
10. Madison Beer
Madison Beer’s career started as a dream when Justin Bieber tweeted about a cover she published on her YouTube channel. He also got her to sign the Island Records almost instantaneously.
Since then, Madison has released one EP named As She Pleases. It gained international coverage and got into few charts around the world.
Madison’s debuting Studio Album Life Support got released in 2024. The album under Epic Records became a moderate hit and peaked on the US chart in 65th position.
With 17 singles and one studio album, Madison is eyeing something big in the coming years and she has plans ready for it.
11. Bülow
The German-born Canadian singer is an aspiring musician with some beginning success. Bülow started singing and jamming with other artists since she was 16.
In 2017, at the age of 19, she released her first EP named Damaged Vol. 1. It was a moderate success and she was named New Artist of the Week by Apple Music Canada. Critics were in her favor and Bülow did get some fans to cheer for her.
In the meantime, she has released four EPs and gathered an even larger listeners base. As a result, she announced a tour of America in 2024, however it was postponed and hasn’t been updated ever since.
Bülow has recently released a music video “First Place” amassing a couple of hundred views within a month.
12. Lennon Stella
Lennon Stella is a newcomer in the industry. She appeared in the musical drama series Nashville and was a regular there for a long time.
Lennon went solo in the year 2018, breaking the duo with her sister. She signed a deal with RECORDS and Columbia Records in that year.
Soon after the signing, Lennon collaborated with Jonas Blue and Liam Paine for the single “Polaroid”.
In the same year, she released her debut EP Love, Me. Lennon opened for Anne-Marie and The Chainsmokers in their tour Speak Your Mind and 5 Seconds of Summer. She won the Juno Award in 2024.
13. Maisy Stella
Although Maisy hasn’t yet reached her elder sister’s level of success, she is a phenomenal singer for sure.
She too was in the series Nashville and performed there for a long time. At the age of eight, she posted a cover of “Call Your Girlfriend” on YouTube with her sister — the video has crossed 20M views.
Even before reaching 20, Maisy has performed on many occasions like in the Grand Ole Opry, CMA Music Fest, and a lot more. She is yet to sign any record labels.
14. Grace VanderWaal
Grace is a musical prodigy — she won America’s Got Talent when she was 12, by the age of 13, she released her first album Just the Beginning, and by the age of 15, she had released two EPs.
In short, what she has accomplished even before turning 18 has taken years more for hundreds of other musicians.
The magical songstress Grace performed in Madison Square Garden in 2017, she performed in Austria for the Special Olympics World Winter Games.
She also toured with the Imagine Dragons for their Evolve World Tour and opened a tour of Florence and the Machine. Grace was awarded the Billboard Women in Music Rising Star Award.
15. Jackie Evancho
Jackie Evancho is yet another musical magician in her own rights. Her talent started gaining attraction when she was only nine. Since then, Jackie has released eight studio albums, three live albums, one Ep and numerous singles.
Evancho holds the record for being the youngest solo artist to debut in the top 10 of Billboard 200. Evancho also got a concert in the Lincoln Center and Café Carlyle — she was the youngest to perform there.
The singer with number one on the Billboard Classical Albums chart recently signed with the label Melody Place.
She has been pretty consistent about album releasing, hopefully, she will keep on doing it.
