Mountain West Retail and Investment congratulates Michelle Doong for being awarded the International Council of Shopping Centers Diversity Scholarship, the Christine and Fred Fairclough Realty Scholarship, the MRED Scholarship, the Price/CCIM Scholarship, as well as being the first recipient of the Commercial Real Estate for Women Utah Scholarship.
Doong is a full-time graduate student attending the University of Utah’s Masters of Real Estate Development (MRED) program, while also working full-time as a Retail Specialist at Mountain West Commercial Real Estate. She demonstrates extreme dedication and excellence in the commercial real estate industry as well as giving back to her community in her spare time, totaling over 2,000+ volunteer hours.
During her short time in the field, Doong has already achieved major accomplishments, both academically and in her career. She currently acts as the Co-Chair for ICSC Mountain States Exchange, is an executive board member for the Utah Asian Chamber of Commerce and is the current student ambassador for CREW Utah, while also competing in the Utah Real Estate Challenge. Doong achieved all of this while maintaining a 4.0 grade point average.
