But in this list, we have tried our best to find out the top 20 most popular Indian singers of Bollywood in 2024.

1. B Praak
National Film Award winner of Best Male Playback Singer for Teri Mitti from film “Kesari” in 2024, B Praak is indeed the best Indian singer in current time. B Praak is a relatively new name in the Indian music industry as he started as a singer with the song “Mann Bharrya” in 2017. After working as a lyricist and music producer for years, he finally made his Bollywood debut in 2019 in the superhit Akshay Kumar movie “Kesari”. At the same time, Praak got another chance to work in the comedy-drama “Good Newwz”. His first Bollywood release “Teri Mitti” is a gigantic hit because of its patriotic sentiment. So far the singer-composer has worked on songs like “Naah”, “O Saaki Saaki”.
2. Jubin Nautiyal
Jubin Nautiyal’s list for hit Indian songs is literally never-ending. Recently, the Dehradun-born singer’s “Lut Gaye” crossed 700M views under T-Series, the first-ever Jubin song to achieve this much number of views on YouTube. He also had a huge success with the song “Tujhe Kitna Chahein Aur Hum. In 2016, he was awarded the Upcoming Male Vocalist at the 8th Mirchi Music Awards for the song “Zindagi Kuch to Bata”. Jubin is widely recognized for his works in “Kaabil”, “The Humma Song” from “Okk Jaanu”, “Banwra Mann” in the film “Jolly LLB 2”.
3. Guru Randhawa
The Punjabi superstar first came to the spotlight for songs like “Lahore”, “Highrated Gabru”. The exotic shooting destinations and the Punjabi-way of expression brought hundreds of millions of fans to his songs. “Highrated Gabru” has amassed 1B views, “Lahore” 950M+ views, on YouTube which is an incredible achievement for an Indian singer. Bollywood couldn’t resist his charm for very long as he made his debut in 2017 in the movie “Hindi Medium”. Guru performed in the opening ceremony of the IPL, a dream for most of the singers, in the same year. Pitbull worked with him for the song “Slowly Slowly”.
4. Darshan Raval
The self-taught musician has an unusual story behind his success. Darshan’s journey in the professional music world began when he joined Yo Yo Honey Sing’s reality show India’s Raw Star. Later he composed his first song “Pehli Mohabbat” which turned out to be a biggie and went viral on social media. The Ahmedabad Times’ most desirable man got his Bollywood breakthrough in the Salman Khan film “Prem Ratan Dhan Payo”. His single “Tera Zikr” has crossed 200M views on YouTube. Darshan is looking at an extremely promising career with a pretty big fan following.
5. Asees Kaur
If you remember the song “Bolna” from “Kapoor & Sons” then you know who I am talking about. The singer Asees won the Upcoming Female Vocalist of the Year for that song. Continuing her success story, the singer won another significant award in 2024 — Filmfare Award for Best Female Playback Singer. Having been in the industry for only a few years, the 1988-born singer has sung a huge number of songs already. The list includes movies like “Tamanchey”, Kesari“, “Simmba”, etc.
6. Neha Kakkar
Neha is a Brit Asia TV Music Awards winner of 2018. Her song “Dilbar” from the movie “Satyameva Jayate” was a massive hit in India leading her to become one of the most sought-after female singers. The breathtaking singer’s “Mile Ho Tum” garnered 1.1B+ views on YouTube making her one of the few Indian singers to have the credit. She also became the second most-viewed female artist globally in terms of YouTube views in 2019 with 4.2B views. Such achievements make Neha, one of the most popular Indian singers of 2024.
7. Harrdy Sandhu
Hardavinder Singh aka Harrdy Sandhu played cricket for years but the fast bowler had to give it up due to an injury. Upon leaving cricket for good, he became a professional singer and released his first song “Tequilla Shot”. Working under music labels like T-Series and Sony Music India, Harrdy has proven himself to be a real superstar. His song “Soch” and “Naah” were remade in two Bollywood movies that gave him the recognition he needed. The Punjabi singer has consistently touched 400M, 500M views on YouTube and is looking forward to releasing some megahits.
8. Dhvani Bhanushali
Dhvani broke into the industry with the viral release “Vaaste”. The song was so popular that not only did it go popular on social media but the memes related to the songs were also huge at one point. She became the youngest Indian singer to reach 1 Billion views. The popstar began her journey in 2017 with an acoustic cover of the popular single “Humsafar”. Dhvani has been working with T-series for the past few years releasing songs like “Na Ja Tu”, “Baby Girl”, “Radha”, etc. She has worked with prominent singers like Guru Randhawa, Jubin Nautiyal, Nikhil D’Souza.
9. Millind Gaba
Millind started his career in 2014 when released the Punjabi song “4 Men Down”. People noticed the new singer and the song was a moderate success. After that, the rising star didn’t take long to fill the gap with songs like “Main Teri Ho Gayi”, “Zara Pass Aao”, and “She Don’t Know”. Following the footsteps of other Punjabi singers, Millind has all the materials one expects from the pop rocks and EDMs.
10. Sunanda Sharma
Another Punjabi in the house! It’s literally impossible nowadays to see the difference as more and more talented singers like Sunanda coming to the party. The youngster was making cover songs when she first got offered to sing “Billi Akh”. The 1992-born doesn’t stop at just singing though, she was a key character in the Punjabi film “Sajjan Singh Rangroot” as well. In Sunanda’s single “Baarish Ki Jaaye” the legendary actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui accompanied her in the music video.
11. Rochak Kohli
Rochak Kohli is better known for his works as a music director. The winner of the IIFA Awards 2019 for the Best Music Director has also tried his hand in singing. Actually, Rochak’s first song goes back as early as 2012 in the movie “Vickey Donor”. He recorded the duet with Ayushman Khurrana. Their song “Pani da rang” won the Global Indian Music Academy Award. Rochak has songs like “Dil Na Janeyya”, “Dil Tod Ke” and a lot of others under his singing cap.
12. Stebin Ben
The MP-born singer is having the time of his life with multiple hit songs in movies like “Shimla Mirchi”, “Hotel Mumbai”. Stebin’s career as a singer began when he got to sing in the web series “Class of 2017”. He sang the famous “Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan”. In collaboration with Niti Taylor, he released the cover of “Ye Jo Halka Halka Suroor Hai” which finally led him to his first movie playback deal. If everything goes right, the rising talent is looking at a bright career.
13. Tulsi Kumar
Tulsi Kumar is the flagbearer of T-Series. The daughter of Gulshan Kumar, Tulsi has made her name in multiple categories. Besides being a prominent singer, she is a notable entrepreneur, voice-over artist, and radio jockey. The playback singer’s “Mere Humsafar” won her the International Film & Entertainment Festival Australia Award and an IIFA award for her song “Soch Na Sake”. Some of her best songs include “Dil Yeh Mera”, “Nachenge Saari Raat”, “Dil Ke Paas”, “Mere Rashke Qamar”, etc.
14. Afsana Khan
Afsana came to the mainstream from a music reality show named Voice of Punjab. Having qualified for the top 5 categories, it was simple from there to get a music deal. Coming from a family of singers, it must have been a dream come true when Afsana tasted success with her songs like “Tootera”, “Mahi Mileya”, “Juti Jharrke”, etc. The song that brought the Punjabi singer the most success so far is “Jatta Sareeam Ve Tu Dhakka Kardae”.
15. Raj Barman
The youngster from Kolkata first caught attention when he released the cover of Sonu Nigam’s song “Abhi Mujh Mein Kahin”. The Bengali star has a YouTube channel with over 3M subscribers where he regularly uploads his covers of famous Hindi and Bangla songs. Raj’s debut playback song was in the Bangla movie “Meher Ali” in 2017. Although the singer hasn’t yet been exposed to mainstream playback so much as of yet, he seems to have a natural talent for music.
16. Zara Khan
Zara Khan is a rising star in the Indian music space but she will soon be getting a special place for her artistry. The singer-actress started out with the movie “Aurangzeb” as an actress. The playback singing part came in when she did her own film named “Barbadiyaan”. The movie wasn’t anything big but Zara continued with her singing. So far she has worked on singles like “Khudse Zyada”, “Kya Karte The Sajna”, “Jogan”.
17. Kamaal Khan
The British-born Indian playback singer began his singing journey with tremendous success in the ‘90s when his single got Platinum-certified worldwide. The song “O Oh Jaane Jaana” appeared in a modified form in the movie “Pyaar Kiya to Darna Kya” once again going popular. The veteran Kamaal has worked with all the famous Indian music composers like A.R Rahman, Sajid–Wajid, Pritam, Vishal-Shekhar, and many more. His albums and singles include “Aye Mere Humnasheen”, “Pyar Hua Hai”, “Kamal Ho Gaya”, “Mere Dil Mein”, “Ya Ke Na” etc.
18. Aakanksha Sharma
Aakanksha has been in the industry since around 2016. She debuted as a playback singer with the song “Tu Alvida” from the movie “Traffic”. The 1996-born became popular after attending a couple of musical reality shows “Chhote Ustaad” and “Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar”. The singer has worked in movies like “Rustom”, “Wah Taj”, and “Beiimaan Love”.
19. Vishal Mishra
The famous music producer sometimes likes to dabble with music too — well more than dabble actually. Vishal Mishra, the winner of the 26th Screen Awards and 65th Filmfare Awards has been behind the mic multiple times. 20. Miss Pooja
The seasoned Punjabi singer Gurinder Kaur aka Miss Puja has amassed a lot of fans over the years. Miss Pooja, a judge of the Voice of Punjab reality show, started her music career in 2006. Her single “Jaan Toh Piyari” wasn’t an instant hit but was enough to get more contracts. Pooja’s Bollywood debut happened in 2013 in the film “Cocktail” with the song “Second Hand Jawani”. Her recent releases for T-Series include “Dj Vajda”, “Care Ni Karda”, “Mehndi”.
