MORE ABOUT MR. REX:
Jimmy Rex grew up in Murray and attended Murray High School where he was voted Class Clown for the Senior Class of 2000. After high school, Jimmy served an LDS Mission to Monterrey Mexico. It was on his mission that he developed his insatiable work ethic and giant, compassionate heart. Upon returning from Mexico, Jimmy sold frozen steaks and seafood …door to door.
He was extremely successful and eventually owned his own company which he franchised. In 2005 Jimmy got his real estate license and started a small brokerage in Murray. With more business than he could handle, Jimmy decided to join Keller Williams for the great benefits of being a KW agent! Jimmy was awarded the 2006 KW Regional Rookie of the Year and was a finalist for the same award with both the Salt Lake and Utah County Boards of Realtors.
In 2007 Jimmy was a finalist for the Salt Lake Board of Realtors Small Sales Team of the Year. Jimmy continued to produce at a high level in 2008 despite the market shift.
He was a finalist for the Salt Lake Board of Realtors Salesperson of the Year in 2010 and was also recognized by Realtor Magazine as one of 50 finalists for the Top 30 Agents in the US Under Age 30. In 2014 Jimmy and his real estate team were awarded Medium Sales Team of the Year by the Salt Lake Board of Realtors.
This year Jimmy was awarded the Good Neighbor Award from the Salt Lake Board of Realtors for his philanthropic endeavors with children through a Sub-4-Santa event he organizes.
Jimmy is extremely active and loves to travel, spend time on his boat and with his family, host large events and date. He also loves helping agents learn to prospect and invites anyone to make calls with him each morning!
