Carolina Wren is a bird species of wren mostly seen in the regions of the United States of America, the extreme south of Ontario, Canada and northeast of Mexico. Carolina wren is the state bird of South Carolina and prefers to thrive in forest, farm edges and suburban areas. The bird species was first described by was first described under the name of Sylvia ludoviciana by John Latham in 1790. It can grow upto 12.5 to 14 cm (4.9 to 5.5 in) along with a total wingspan of 29 cm (11 in). The avarage wieght of the bird species is 18 to 23 g (0.63 to 0.81 oz). 3.Cassin’s Finch
Cassin’s Finch is one of the small brown birds that belong to the finch family known as Fringillidae. It can grow upto 6.3 in (16 cm) with a total wingspan of 9.8-10.6 in (25-27 cm). The avarage wieght of the bird species is 0.8-1.2 oz (24-34 g). The breeding range of the bird species includes mountains of western North America as far south as northern New Mexico and Arizona.
