As a child, Amanda Ava Koci had been quite enthusiastic about music, which is not strange as she was birthed by an opera singer mother and a pianist father. In 2017, Ava finally made her professional debut alongside Le Youth. The single titled “Clap your hands” was applauded, and the track immediately became a hit. The following year, “My way”, her debut solo single, was premiered by Atlantic Records. This also received a warm reception, and the video got wide viewing.

Ava’s breakout single “Sweet but Psycho” was released on the 17th of August 2018. The song became an instant hit. It ranked first in countries like Finland, Sweden, Germany, New Zealand, The United Kingdom, and Denmark, and stayed at on top for four weeks consecutively. The song also rose to number 10 on the Billboard Bubbling Under the Hot 100 Singles Chart, as well as the top of the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart. Two years later, she released her debut studio album titled Heaven and Hell, after recording the album from December 2018 to March 2024.
